Dreadful Snake Radio is back!  I traveled 20,000 miles in 10 days and recorded this in India, China, Australia, and Korea.  I started in Goa in India at the beach in the picture on the right (picture by Dreadful Snake Guy).  Dylan is in the spotlight tonight as we look at his and Tim O’Brien’s versions of Farewell Angelina.  We introduce a special Dreadful Snake Quiz Show segment about another song:  Where did that melody really come from???   And you can hear my new Taylor 810ce in the background of much of the ‘cast with some stuff in G.  E-mail your answers to the quiz question to guy@dreadfulsnake.com.  The answer revealed next time!  Did you all miss me?  I missed you!

I had no idea till i looked it up - is the answer "Franklin" which is the melody for Bob Dylan's Dream?

    Cheers,

Farewell Angelina is actually Farewell to Tarwathie - but we all knew that.

Hey Guy, nice to have you back! I couldn't believe you left out Jerry Douglas on the first pass...

Yup! I actually recorded the commentary before I loaded the songs into the mix so went totally from leaky memory! When I mixed it, I went, O yeah, like the dobro is the lead instument on that cut! O well, my mind is out to lunch but my heart is in the right place. Isn't that about right, on balance? And the Russ Barenburg comment was maybe because of his brother on my butt? See the 2nd show "Wacka Wacka Edition for details. If you can bare it. I mean bear it. Tee hee.

I'm on line listening to Dreadful Snake
Radio. Mumbai is gone, now CooChi Bay. KuQi Bei. Gucci Bay. Listening to you talk about music reminds me of Political or Literature reviewers who put events or works in context. One has to have a very large grasp of the milieu to
understand how everything fits together. If I had a hat on, I would take it off to you.
